Pest Inspections & WDO Inspections

Potential pests include ants, roaches, spiders, rodents, as well as termites, wood boring beetles, etc.  We are able to coordinate, if desired, with Professional Pest Companies to conduct a Pest Inspection while we conduct your Home Inspection. There is an additional fee for this service.

A Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) Inspection is a written report of an inspection on a structure for visible and accessible evidence of an infestation or damage by wood destroying organisms. Usually this means subterranean or dry wood termites, but will also cover wood destroying beetles. The inspector will note any evidence of (1) live termites or other wood destroying organisms (2) infestation by termites or other wood destroying organisms (3) damage by termites or other wood destroying organisms (4) previous treatment for termites or other wood destroying organisms.
The WDO inspection industry in Florida is regulated by The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Agriculture Environmental Services and Division of Entomology and Pest Control. All WDO inspections are completed by individuals with a valid pest control identification card designating them as having received special training to perform such inspections.
